Dr.
Vodder School International offers certification to qualifying healthcare
professionals in a 3-Level course structure, each level a pre-requisite to
the next, and completion of the final, “Therapy II & II” level
resulting in full certification in MLD and CDT. Classes available in both
English and French and scheduled throughout 2013 in above Canadian cities.

Integrated Lymph Drainage (ILD) Training, Toronto Lymphocare Centre
Ongoing,

Integrated
Lymph Drainage is a post-graduate training for health care professionals
such as physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, nurses and
occupational therapists. The training is offered in three levels, each a
pre-requisite to the next, and the completion of all three levels results
in a certificate for Integrated Lymph Drainage.

Symposium

The
Alberta Lymphedema Association invites you to attend their second education
symposium on Wednesday July 3rd and Thursday July 4th, 2013 at the
Foothills Hospital Auditorium and Tom Baker Auditorium in Calgary, Alberta.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Andrea Cheville from the Mayo Clinic. In
addition, there will be demonstrations on wrapping and day and night
garments and access to a variety of exhibitors. The objective of the
symposium is to educate and inform patients, doctors and other medical
personnel in Alberta. All are welcome. Pre-registration is required.

Annual Lymphedema Conference in Collaboration with the CLF – Save the
Dates!
“Pathways
to Collaboration – Research, Education, Partnerships”

25 and 26, 2013 - Toronto, ON
The
Lymphedema Association of Ontario is bringing their 17 years of experience
with planning lymphedema education conferences to an exciting new event in
collaboration with the Canadian Lymphedema Framework. Entitled
"PATHWAYS TO COLLABORATION - Research, Education, Partnerships",
this two day conference will be held on October 25 and 26 at the
Sheraton Toronto Airport, Hotel and Conference Centre. The hotel is
conveniently located off the 401 and 427 highways, and offers a very large
space for delegates to learn, network, and view exhibitors. The first day
(Friday) of the conference will bring together health professionals from
across Canada for workshops aimed at understanding the latest research on
lymphedema management and the consistency of care in Canada. This will be
followed by a patient-professional combined conference on Saturday,
offering sessions geared to each education grouping as well
as an opportunity to network with health professionals, clients,
exhibitors, researchers and advocates. The call for abstracts for both oral
and poster presentations will open at the end of February, and registration
for both health professionals and patients will open on June 01. Stay
tuned for more information.
